Remodel of Basement Nook
What started off as an empty and awkward end of a basement, ended as a fully equipped wet bar that greets guests as they enter the basement. The space is an extension of the upstairs kitchen with 42" cherry cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, but only takes up a small portion of one end of the basement. Great use of space! The travertine flooring was laid on a diagonal to create the illusion of a larger space and a mosaic medallion adds a touch of class that also divides the bar area from the rest of the basement.
